About the role

The Playground Assistant assists elementary school staff in ensuring student safety and well-being during specific times.

Responsibilities

• Monitor designated areas on assigned school campuses from 9:50am-10:50am and 11:30am-1:45pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
• Monitor designated areas from 9:50am-1:05pm on Wednesdays at Saddleback Valley Unified.

Requirements

Qualifications

• External candidates start at Steps A-C based on verified previous experience.
• Current, regular employees are placed at the lowest step of their new range, which provides a raise of approximately 5%, subject to salary schedule constraints.

Benefits

• Length of Work Year: 16.25 hours per week, 9.5 months per year.

Pay

• Pay Range: $18.19 - $23.15 per hour.
• Additional Salary Info: Range 22.

• 9:50am-1:05pm Wednesdays at Saddleback Valley Unified.
