Key Responsibilities

  • Enforces internal controls, credit policies, and departmental procedures.
  • Maintains working knowledge of accounting systems related to cage and player services.
  • Promotes guest satisfaction and teamwork aligned with service quality standards.
  • Affords assistance to Shift Manager in supervising, scheduling, and monitoring cage activities.
  • Maintains personnel documentation (attendance, evaluations, disciplinary actions, etc.).
  • Authorizes credit within approved limits.
  • Oversees Player Services Cashier, Main Bank, Marker Bank, Fill Bank, and kiosk operations.
  • Safeguards company assets and completes daily Cage Closeout Summary.
  • Communicates shift activity and instructions to incoming shift manager.
  • Monitors cash levels and reports needs to management.
  • Identifies and resolves shift-related issues, escalating as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education & Licensing: Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred. Must be able to obtain a Mississippi Gaming Commission work permit.
  • Skills & Abilities: Ability to perform all essential duties satisfactorily. Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills. Able to write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively to groups. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, AS400 systems, and Kronos timekeeping. Strong math skills including percentages, proportions, and volume calculations. Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear. Regularly lift/move up to 20 lbs. Visual abilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Work Environment: Exposure to moving mechanical parts and airborne particles. Moderate noise level.
