Plating Operator - 2nd Shift - 90-Day Increase Eligible

About the role
The Copper Plater I is responsible for processing panels through the cleaning line, loading and unloading plating tanks, changing filters and anode bags, adding copper to plating baskets, handling tin anode bars, and dumping and remaking chemistries according to company procedures and schedules. This role requires maintaining a clean and safe work area, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Process boards through Copper Plating in a complete and timely manner in accordance with production traveler and work instructions, ensuring compliance with ISO procedures.
- Perform dumps and remakes of chemistries per preventive maintenance schedule.
- Maintain and clean all department equipment.
- Ensure each job is accompanied by a traveler and all previous steps are signed off.
- Perform start-up, operation, preventive maintenance, and quality checks according to work instructions.
- Follow all safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Basic mathematical and reasoning ability.
- Ability to communicate effectively with managers and supervisors.
- Must be able to stand for the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
- Strong concentration and ability to remain focused with minor interruptions.
- High School Diploma or GED desired; 1-2 years of copper plating experience may substitute for educational requirement.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC regulations:
- Identify ITAR products on the manufacturing floor and restrict access to U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents.
- Recognize Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation.
- Follow authorization procedures for foreign visitors (VAL).
- Understand export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the U.S.
- Manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.

Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role is $42,038 - $66,447.
