Plating Line Operator

The OpportunityPrecious Plate is hiring a Line Operator to join our team. As a Line Operator, you will perform a variety of activities required to manufacture products, including the reel-to-reel operating of our electroplating manufacturing lines. This is a full-time position, working from 7am - 7pm OR 7pm 7am on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, reporting to the Production Foreman. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Use of the reel-to-reel electroplating manufacturing lines and/or equipment to convert raw materials into plated productFollow all safety rules and regulationsFollow standard operating procedures and work instructions to maintain product qualityPerform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioningTroubleshoot process issues and report findings to appropriate team membersOther duties and responsibilities as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Minimum high school graduate or equivalentMinimum 12-months prior manufacturing experience strongly preferredAbility to work safely, efficiently, and reliably in a fast-paced environment while meeting quality standardsAbility to read, write and understand verbal and written instructionsMath skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication and divisionAbility to work independently and perform cooperatively with othersAbility to operate hoists and other motorized equipment to move materialAbility to hear, see, occasionally bend, stoop and kneel, stand for 8 to 12 hours per day, and push, pull or lift up to 50lbs as needed to perform essential job functions Working Conditions Regularly works with chemical solutionsEnvironment may be high temperatures depending on ambient outside temperatureSafety glasses, steel or composite toe boots, and hearing protection requiredOther PPE may be required depending on responsibilitiesCould be exposed to background noise, odors, or dust Who We AreSince 1973, Precious Plate has provided exceptional, selective electroplating services by continually adapting and improving electroplating equipment and processes to the specific needs of a wide variety of manufacturers.
