About the role
The Platform Specialist supports sales operations through accurate order entry, platform transaction processing, and cross-functional coordination. This role is responsible for managing high-volume transactional activities, maintaining data integrity, resolving order-related issues, and supporting platform adoption while delivering exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Process sales orders, change orders, and platform transactions accurately and on time.
- Review and validate orders, quotes, pricing, licensing, and customer information.
- Support sales teams, account managers, and internal stakeholders with order and platform-related requests.
- Utilize CRM systems and Zendesk to manage customer and transaction inquiries.
- Maintain data integrity and identify opportunities to improve processes and platform adoption.
- Generate reports and track KPIs related to order completion, productivity, and service levels.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and other teams to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prioritize competing requests and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Requirements
- Associate degree and 2+ years of experience in sales operations, order management, customer support, or related field; OR High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with order entry, order processing, and CRM systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet performance metrics/KPIs.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and independently in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and related business applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Zendesk or similar ticketing platforms.
- Knowledge of sales operations, licensing, quoting, or platform support.
- Experience working in a technology, IT, SaaS, or distribution environment.
- Background in reporting, data analysis, or process improvement.
- IT-related education or experience.

Pay
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $43,800.00 - $70,100.00 per year. Individual base pay depends on factors such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of the role, job duties, relevant experience, and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and updated annually. Offers are typically made within the bottom half of the range at the time of hire. Eligible roles may also receive additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonuses, or long-term incentives based on performance.
