Platform Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define software specifications to meet system and customer requirements.
• Develop basic software for automotive mechatronic systems, including configuration of AUTOSAR stack and C coding, particularly for network communication and diagnostics.
• Debug software in simulation environments (SIL/HIL) and at the bench using circuit debuggers.
• Manage software repository (git) and ticketing system (Jira) to ensure proper synchronization and deploy software builds to customers.
• File, analyze, and resolve bugs and change requests originating internally or from customer demand.
• Ensure software development adheres to corporate processes (A-SPICE).

Requirements

• Degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, or computer science.
• Excellent level of English language.
• Previous experience in automotive, aerospace, railway, home appliances, IoT, or industrial automation sectors.
• Excellent knowledge of embedded software development, programming on microcontrollers, and use of laboratory equipment and circuit debuggers.
• Previous experience with the AUTOSAR architecture.
• Knowledge of version control, issue tracking, and requirement management tools.
• Knowledge in scripting languages, preferably Python.
• Knowledge of BLDC motors and related control techniques.
• Knowledge of semi-formal documentation techniques (UML).
