Platform Engineer (Hybrid) - 28016

Responsibilities
- Significantly contribute to the development of custom software components and integration of open-source code to address complex problems using cutting-edge Big Data / Cloud technology.
- Work autonomously to identify and solve problems quickly, contributing to broader strategic goals set by Architects on the team.
- Design and implement core architecture and capabilities for software from prototype to operational applications.
- Develop and deploy infrastructure in AWS.
- Leverage modern tools to define, build, and manage virtual infrastructure in the cloud.
- Have experience with Kubernetes (or vendor flavor of Kubernetes), Ansible, storage layers (Ceph, Rook, Longhorn, etc.).
- Develop and deploy infrastructure in AWS.
- Experience with programming skills in languages like Python or Go.
- Have a solid understanding of Linux systems, hosts, networks, security, applications, and proficiency in shell scripting (Shell/Bash).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, spending an average of 1-2 days per week at our Columbia, MD office.
Requirements
- Security Clearance - A current U.S. Government Security clearance is not required on day 1, but will be processed for one; U.S. citizenship required. Can also consider candidates with current Secret or TS level clearance.
- 5+ years of experience with Bachelors in related field; OR 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Must have experience developing and deploying infrastructure in AWS.
- Experience with Kubernetes (or vendor flavor of Kubernetes), Ansible, storage layers (Ceph, Rook, Longhorn, etc.).
- Experience with programming skills in languages like Python or Go.

Pay
Anticipated Salary Range: $115,199.00 - $145,000.00. The salary range for this role is intended as a good faith estimate based on the role's location, expectations, and responsibilities. When extending an offer, Enlighten takes a variety of factors into consideration which include, but are not limited to, the role's function, internal equity and a candidate's education or training, work experience, certifications and key skills. Occasionally positions/roles may include additional non-recurrent compensation and will be addressed by the recruiter during the interview process.
