Platform Engineer (Hybrid) - 27031 with Security Clearance

About the role

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining platform solutions that support mission-critical operations. Works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based platforms
• Collaborate with software developers, network engineers, and other IT professionals to implement platform solutions
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in cloud computing and cybersecurity
• Document processes and procedures for future reference and training purposes

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in platform engineering or related field
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and methodologies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• CISSP certification preferred
