About the role
A senior technical resource who designs, builds, and maintains large-scale integration platforms with a focus on performance, scalability, security, and reliability. The role collaborates across platform and business teams to ensure the platform supports non-functional requirements and anticipated growth over five years.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and support large-scale applications on modern application servers (WebLogic, JBoss, Mule, Tomcat).
- Monitor, triage, and tune performance using APM tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
- Design and implement integrations using Mule ESB, Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, web services, Kafka, and SQL/PLSQL (Oracle).
- Develop and maintain APIs and microservices at scale with XML and JSON.
- Contribute to automation, shared solutions, and test-driven development (Cucumber, JUnit).
- Coordinate dependencies across platform and business teams, ensuring consistent design with solution architects.
- Support production environments with incident, problem, change, and maintenance management.
- Operate in a highly Agile CI/CD environment, preferably within the financial domain.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Mentor team members and foster innovation, problem-solving, and team leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience delivering large-scale applications.
- Strong experience with integration technologies (Mule ESB, middleware).
- Hands-on experience with container platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Mule, web services, Kafka, and SQL/PLSQL (Oracle).
- Knowledge of XML, JSON, and API/microservice implementations at scale.
- Experience with test-driven development and unit testing (Cucumber, JUnit).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience supporting production environments with maintenance, change, and incident management.
- Agile CI/CD experience, preferably in the financial domain.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent.

Pay
$110,000 - $125,000 a year.
