Platform Engineer

About the role

Ownership of day-to-day operations and partnership with other teams to protect IT assets from cyber threats. Deploying, configuring, managing, and maintaining technologies/infrastructure for Advanced Cyber Initiatives. Providing technical interface to customers for tools within the Cyber Defense product suite. Maintaining IT and enterprise-class security applications and systems. Troubleshooting Linux and/or Windows server operating systems and enterprise applications. Remediating vulnerabilities and ensuring stability of supported platforms through monitoring, patching, and administration.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations and collaborate with other teams to protect IT assets from cyber threats
• Deploy, configure, manage, and maintain technologies/infrastructure for Advanced Cyber Initiatives
• Serve as technical interface to customers for tools within the Cyber Defense product suite
• Maintain IT and enterprise-class security applications and systems
• Troubleshoot Linux and/or Windows server operating systems and enterprise applications
• Remediate vulnerabilities and ensure stability of supported platforms through monitoring, patching, and administration

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in a large enterprise environment with a focus on change management
• 3+ years minimum experience as a System Admin or similar role
• 3+ years of cybersecurity engineering related experience (understanding of PCI-DSS/NCUA ideal)
• Experience working in environments with infrastructure management processes like change management and problem management
• Hands-on experience with Agile, specifically Kanban workflow
• Strong understanding and ability to troubleshoot various common Linux or Windows server operating systems
