Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain common platform tools and services that enable the Client System's data management and analytics capabilities.
• Build and enhance core services used by application developers and data scientists, ensuring a robust and efficient environment for mission-critical tasks.
• Design and implement platform capabilities such as containerization, orchestration, and service meshes.
• Create self-service tools for developers to increase productivity.
• Establish platform monitoring and observability solutions.
• Implement platform security controls and compliance mechanisms.
• Optimize platform performance and resource utilization.
• Automate platform operations through continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
• Develop platform documentation and training materials.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure seamless integration.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• At least 8 years of experience developing and supporting platform services and tools in an enterprise setting.
• Must meet DoD 8140 requirements.
• Security Clearance: Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required, depending on position.

Pay

The base pay range for this position in California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is $135,200—$278,500 USD.
