Platform Engineer/Architect, SME P11

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level platform engineering support for DFAS CCE NIPRNet unclassified enclave Process CCE priority Tier 3 DFASNow support tickets achieving 95% worked-by-priority compliance.
• Support CCE Change Control Board (CCB) with 95% on-time inputs.
• Lead technology planning and develop ITI 5-Year Roadmap & Architecture (due 60 days after award, then annually).
• Engineer solutions for CCE movement to DoD certified cloud solutions and hybrid environments.
• Evaluate CCE infrastructure for cost reduction, service improvement, and capability enhancement.
• Conduct tuning activities achieving 90% on-schedule compliance.
• Support IPv6 processing achieving 100% validation compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years enterprise systems architecture experience.
• Expert-level Windows Server administration (AZ801-802 certification).
• Expert-level security architecture (CISSP certification).
• Experience with NIPRNet unclassified network environments.
• Proficiency in: SQL, SCOM, MECM, Virtualization (VMware/Nutanix), Directory Services.
• Experience with Azure cloud migration and hybrid environments.
• Knowledge of IPv6 implementation and transition.
• Experience developing technology roadmaps and architecture documentation.
• Demonstrated Zero Trust Network Architecture implementation experience.
• Azure Solutions Architect certification (preferred).
• VMware VCP or equivalent virtualization certification (preferred).
• Prior DoD cloud migration experience.
• FedRAMP/FISMA compliance experience.
• Knowledge of DISA STIGs and security hardening.
• Experience with emerging technologies (AI/ML, automation) (preferred).
