Plate Mounter - 2nd Shift!

KDV Label has production facilities in Waukesha, Wisconsin, Loveland, Colorado, and Sugar Grove, Illinois. As a Press Helper, you will be on the front lines of producing high-quality labels for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine operations related to Plate Mounting –including but not limited to lifting print cylinders that weigh up to 25lbs and mount plate on to print cylinder using precision
• Capable of working in a fast paced environment
• Plan ahead, preparing for the next job
• Wash plates from completed jobs using plate washer
• Peel sticky back off cylinders
• Stock area with supplies needed – alcohol, soap, etc.
• Read and understand measurements down to .0625”
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment

Requirements

• Ability to handle physical workload on average 10lbs, maximum weight 25lbs
• Basic math skills needed, able to read a ruler
• Good close-up vision recommended
• Must have the ability to understand direction from group leaders and other technician level employees
• Maintain a good safety record
