Plastic Surgery RN

Contract position in a Plastic Surgery Clinic in Seattle, WA.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 4×10-hour shifts (6:45 AM–5:15 PM)
• Initial contract: 3 months

Pay

$45–$50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient care from pre-operative through post-anesthesia recovery and discharge.
• Deliver nursing care in the perioperative setting, including pre-op and PACU.
• Perform ECGs, urine pregnancy tests, and glucometer testing.
• Assess patient status in pre-op, verify accurate identification, and confirm all consent forms.
• Assess pre-operative vital signs to ensure they are within acceptable parameters for scheduled surgeries.
• Perform initial assessment on arrival in the PACU, including managing patient airways and airway adjuncts.
• Document nursing activities for continuity of care, quality improvement, and professional accountability.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Pre-op, PACU, or perioperative experience preferred.
