Plastic Surgery Coder - Physician Coder
About the role
Guidehouse is seeking a General Coding professional with experience in Physician Plastic Surgery charges, trauma surgery, and breast reconstruction coding. This position requires high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years of relevant experience, CPC certification from AAPC, and experience with ENT facial plastics and multispecialty surgical coding.
Responsibilities
- Code Physician Plastic Surgery charges
- Communicate coding rationale to physicians
- Code IP and OP Plastic Surgery charges
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- 3+ years of experience coding for Plastic Surgery
- CPC from AAPC
- Trauma surgery coding experience related to Plastics Breast Reconstruction
- Flaps and adjacent tissue transfer experience
Qualifications
- ENT facial plastics coding experience
- Multispecialty surgical coding experience
- Other coding credentials from AAPC

The annual salary range for this position is $44,000.00 - $74,000.00. Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $44,000.00 - $74,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
