Plastic Surgeon-Micro/Breast Reconstruction Surgeon

About the role

The Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Cleveland Clinic has a faculty position opening for Micro/Breast Reconstruction Surgeon. Successful candidates will be responsible for the delivery of high quality care within Cleveland Clinic Health System.

Responsibilities

- Delivering advanced treatment for all illnesses and disorders of the body. - Involved in the full spectrum of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, including implant/expander based breast reconstruction, free flap breast reconstruction, complex wound management, and aesthetic breast, body, and facial surgery. - Building and working in a multidisciplinary manner with colleagues in numerous specialties. - Teaching and participating in active research programs. - Participating in the ACGME accredited Plastic Surgery training program.

Requirements

- Completion of an accredited BC/BE Plastic Surgery training program. - Advanced Fellowship training in microsurgery.

Qualifications

- Experience with program building and working in a multidisciplinary manner. - Focus on teaching and active participation in research programs.

Skills

- Strong clinical skills and experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery. - Ability to teach and mentor trainees. - Interest in research and innovation.
