Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the fabrication and assembly of plastic components and systems under supervision.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and technical drawings.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials using a tape measure and basic tools.
- Perform conversions between fractions and decimals accurately.
- Safely operate hand tools and power tools in accordance with company standards.
- Support fabrication processes while maintaining quality and safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of fractions and decimals, with the ability to convert between them.
- Able to read and use a tape measure accurately.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools, including safe operation practices.
- Able to read and understand basic blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous experience in cabinetry, furniture building, carpentry, or finishwork.
- Flat Plastic Sheet welding fabricator experience.
Physical Effort/Activities
- May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds.
