Plant Technician Operator

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Production Plant Operator to join our team at one of our Merchant Gas production facilities in Chester, VA.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the operation and stewardship of equipment used in air separation, vacuum swing absorption, and carbon dioxide plants.
• Maintain strict regulatory compliance and prioritize a safe working environment.
• Facilitate the operation of various processing plants to support facility startups, team training, and coverage for fellow production team members.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant workplace.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• 2 – 3 years of industrial plant / cryogenic plant experience preferred
• Understanding of control valve functions and systems used to control flows & pressures on industrial tanks

Preferred Qualifications

• Air Separation Plant or related industrial experience
• Water Treatment – an understanding of water treatment principles and equipment
• Refrigeration – A basic understanding of refrigeration systems
• Air Separation – A basic understanding of air separation and associated technologies
• Electrical/Instrumentation experience or interest
