Plant Technician - Manufacturing

About the role

As a Plant Technician you will do various types of work, including running high-speed converting and packing equipment, controlling the process from a computer terminal, and performing preventive maintenance on equipment.

Responsibilities

• Run high-speed converting and packing equipment
• Control the process from a computer terminal
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Minimum of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
• Wear required safety personal protective equipment (eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes)
• Work a fixed 12-hour shift schedule, which may include assignment to an overnight shift as determined by business needs at the time of hire

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a background check

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot industrial equipment
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Pay

Starting rate of $31.98/hr or ~$66,500/yr ( + shift differential). Top-level technicians have the potential to earn up to $60.43/hr or ~$125,600/yr (+ shift differential) as you grow in the organization.
