Responsibilities
- Conduct processes under supervision and control safely, environmentally responsibly, consistently, and efficiently to achieve quality results and projected production rates.
- Ensure the operation is run in a safe manner.
- Perform thorough pre‑shift checks, including checking machine fluids.
- Start up machinery from a cold start and shut down machinery, including shutdown for cleaning.
- Follow up the Daily Instruction Sheet.
- Manage normal operation and adjust machine parameters in response to material testing, including dryer temperature profile, SOPs, and best practices.
- Manage major upsets and abnormal situations such as high feed‑end temperature, low bag‑house temperatures, etc.
- Perform general housekeeping and maintain all records.
- Review previous shift operation at the beginning of the shift and leave proper information for the following shift.
- Analyze operation trends.

About the Team
You will be part of Carmeuse North America, a “Rock‑Star” team of roughly 2,500 workers and employees, each bringing their own culture and specific needs. The North American headquarters is located in Pittsburgh, PA, and oversees more than three dozen production facilities across the United States and Canada.
