Plant Supervisor I
Summary/Job Scope
The Plant Supervisor I will assist the Plant Manager II in managing and coordinating plant activities to effectively satisfy customer needs by efficiently utilizing delivery labor and equipment and ensuring that concrete is batched to company standards. The position will also assume the role of Plant Manager II when the manager is not present.
Key Responsibilities
- To batch concrete within company standards
- To assist the manager in taking orders and dispatching as needed
- To assists the Plant Manager II in the completion of all reporting requirements within the prescribed timeframes
- During the absence of the Plant Manager II (vacation, extended hours, etc) the Assistant will be responsible for Plant Manager II essential functions (refer to Plant Manager II job description)
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- Previous experience as a responsible ready-mix delivery professional helpful, but not required
- Maintains mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred
- Valid Driver’s license

Pay
Salary Range: $ 29.00 to $ 35.00
