Plant Specialist – Baroid Mine

Job Duties

Under general supervision, assist in plant analysis of production systems, modifications of plant design or product modifications, which requires working knowledge of plant operations and product knowledge.

They prepare design calculations and specifications to meet production capacity and product requirements.

They develop test procedures for system analysis, conduct the tests and complete the analysis of the systems effectiveness.

Design of systems must meet MSHA/OSHA regulatory requirements along with HAL Health, Safety Environment (HSE) standards.

Their projects incorporate reliability, HSE and SQ analysis techniques during design phase of a project.

Project designs take into account material of construction, manufacturing components and their application in the plant.

They learn and utilize project management skills in the execution of project assignments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of related experience required.
• Completion of an Associates degree in a technical field or Technical training certification preferred.
• Must have a current and valid drivers license and clean motor vehicle record.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
