Plant Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Leads and manages the plant quality department, providing coaching, development, training and support as needed to establish and maintain plant quality management system and standard work compliance
• Maintain on time delivery of internal and external responses
• Manage internal containment to protect customers
• Monitor, score, and develop improvement plans for preventive and corrective action systems.
• Supports maintenance of ISO 14001 certification for the plant
• Lead and manage all program management functions for the plant, including PPAP submissions
• Maintain plant nonconforming material program, including proactive action to prevent future nonconforming material
• Maintain plant calibration system
• Maintain plant document control system
• Maintain plant internal audit program

Requirements

• BS in a technical field or equivalent experience required
• 2+ years' experience in the development and maintenance of a quality testing/reporting system
• Six Sigma Green Belt certified is preferred
• Fully fluent in using Microsoft Office products
• Interpersonal skills with a strong emphasis on building positive working relationships within the company
• Able to travel as needed (approximately 10%)
• IATF Experience or lead auditor certification preferred
• Able to support the operations during non-business hours
• Must be authorized to work in the US without need for sponsorship
