Plant Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Opportunity for an experienced, personable, and skilled Production Supervisor at our Sapulpa, OK location.
• Influence the future of our operation by coaching employees, driving continuous improvement, and helping our facility achieve operational excellence.
• Ensure safe work practices and compliance with company policies.
• Provide real-time leadership, problem solving, and decision making on the production floor.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis for scrap, downtime, or other processes.
• Create a team-friendly environment.
• Conduct employee coaching, performance discussions, and corrective actions when needed.
• Aid in scheduling production.
• Lead one of the four production crews.
• Work 24/7, rotating shifts every 4 weeks (days: 7am-7pm, nights: 7pm-7am).
• Operate 4 days on, 4 days off.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years work experience in a trade profession.
• Highly motivated, goal-oriented, ethical, and challenge-driven.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement tools preferred.
• Strong proficiency in troubleshooting and maintenance activities of furnace equipment.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduled form.
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced technical training through trade school or higher education preferred.
