Key Accountabilities
- Monitor unit and make necessary adjustments to continuously produce product per Unit Specifications
- Conduct work activities in compliance with Safety, Health, Environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain current training and qualifications for multiple areas within the unit
- Take prompt and appropriate action to prevent, correct, and/or inform supervision of situations that could result in an incident or non-compliance
- Support safe and efficient operations in all operating areas
- Analyze samples in the laboratory using established laboratory practices
- Gather and record data points and adjust as appropriate to maintain optimum unit efficiencies
- Maintain housekeeping in work area
- Perform troubleshooting and minor maintenance of equipment; notify maintenance department when necessary
- Work flexible hours, including overtime, call outs, and shift as needed
- Rotate job assignments and perform other tasks as requested by supervision or operations staff
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification
- Associate Degree and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Process Technology, Instrumentation, Electrical, or other technical degree (preferred)
- 3+ years relevant experience required if no degree
Skills
- Good computer skills: typing, Microsoft Suite, SAP, and DMS knowledge
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- High personal motivation and ability to work independently and as a team
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues, independently or through a team process
- Flexibility with job responsibilities and willingness to learn new tasks, take on challenges, and seek information from others
- Strong oral and written communication skills to interact with peers and production personnel
- Ability to safely perform essential job functions
