Plant Processor

Key Accountabilities

• Monitor unit and make necessary adjustments to continuously produce product per Unit Specifications
• Conduct work activities in compliance with Safety, Health, Environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain current training and qualifications for multiple areas within the unit
• Take prompt and appropriate action to prevent, correct, and/or inform supervision of situations that could result in an incident or non-compliance
• Support safe and efficient operations in all operating areas
• Analyze samples in the laboratory using established laboratory practices
• Gather and record data points and adjust as appropriate to maintain optimum unit efficiencies
• Maintain housekeeping in work area
• Perform troubleshooting and minor maintenance of equipment; notify maintenance department when necessary
• Work flexible hours, including overtime, call outs, and shift as needed
• Rotate job assignments and perform other tasks as requested by supervision or operations staff

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification
• Associate Degree and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Process Technology, Instrumentation, Electrical, or other technical degree (preferred)
• 3+ years relevant experience required if no degree

• Good computer skills: typing, Microsoft Suite, SAP, and DMS knowledge
• Strong analytical and planning skills
• High personal motivation and ability to work independently and as a team
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues, independently or through a team process
• Flexibility with job responsibilities and willingness to learn new tasks, take on challenges, and seek information from others
• Strong oral and written communication skills to interact with peers and production personnel
• Ability to safely perform essential job functions
