Plant Operator - Monterey TN

About the role

Operates plant controls to weigh and deliver specified quantities of aggregates for loadout and dumping into trucks. Partners with other plant crew members to ensure production runs at efficient levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-shift inspection of plant to ensure operational readiness and check all safety items.
• Follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
• Answer telephone and radio, take and input orders.
• Observe gauges, dials, and machinery operation to ensure conformance to processing specifications.
• Assist in maintenance of plant equipment and compile reports on plant production and maintenance.
• Inspect plant and safety items at the end of each shift.
• Grease equipment and perform cleanup at the end of each shift.
• Maintain required attendance to ensure crew operates at normal efficiency.
• Maintain courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers, and the public.

• Ability to work in a team environment and assist co-workers with other duties as required.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
