Plant Operator (Filler/Labeler)

Job Summary

We are hiring a Plant Operator (Filler/Labeler) in Plumsteadville, PA. This role focuses on safely filling, handling, and managing high- and low-pressure gas cylinders within a plant environment.

What You Will Contribute

• Read and interpret cylinder labels and the color-coding of tanks
• Accurately label cylinders and boxes
• Transfill low pressure cylinders on a manifold
• Comply with training, safety programs, OSHA, and related rules, regulations, and procedures
• Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly workplace through proper housekeeping procedures
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining sufficient stock to meet customer demand
• Assist with inventory counts monthly
• Maintain quality assurance policies and standards
• Report accidents and unsafe conditions
• Fill cylinders, high and low pressure, in accordance with safety procedures and quality
• Able to operate a forklift
• Operate hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Communicate effectively
• Work independently

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Good math and analytical skills
• Good organizational skills
• Teamwork skills
• Precise record-keeping skills
• Familiarity with computers
• Chemical knowledge a plus
