Plant Operator

Operate and maintain an automated rock-products processing plant to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.

Responsibilities

• Operate production material plant and monitor automated processing equipment.
• Maintain material quality and perform basic maintenance activities.
• Identify and resolve equipment issues (mechanical, electrical, software).
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to optimize plant efficiency.
• Conduct housekeeping to keep the work station clean and safe.
• Complete record-keeping requirements and comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of training and work experience.
• Minimum two years of experience in the construction/mining industry preferred.
• Experience with automated processing equipment preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of industrial processing equipment (screens, crushers, conveyor systems).
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods; grip, climb, reach, shovel, squat, crawl, pull, push, bend, and lift up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying and extreme weather conditions (heat, wet, cold).
• Must be able to work required overtime and flexible schedules.
• Must be able to speak, read, and have a working knowledge of the English language.
