Plant Operator

About the role

Cyclic Materials™ is seeking experienced Machine Operators, Senior Millwrights, and Material Handlers to join our dynamic team in Arizona. This role involves operating heavy machinery, performing material handling tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery and perform material handling tasks in a heavy-industrial setting.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and maintain equipment.
• Resolve issues with machinery and troubleshoot problems.
• Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members.
• Become forklift operator certified if needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial environments such as mining, quarry, steel smelter, scrap yard.
• Heavy Machine Operation or Metals Recycling required.
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training is a plus).
• Knowledge of safety regulations and equipment maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness and ability to become forklift operator certified.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a noisy, dusty environment with potential exposure to hazardous materials.

Working Conditions

• This position will be expected to work in a plant environment with exposure to loud noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
• The job may involve shift work, weekend shifts, or on-call availability depending on operational needs.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots is mandatory.

The base compensation offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.

Schedule

This position will involve shift work, weekend shifts, or on-call availability depending on operational needs.
