Plant Operator

Job Description

The role of a Plant Operator is essential in maintaining operational efficiency and safety within the facility. This hands-on role combines equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, environmental compliance, and plant operations while offering long-term growth opportunities within an expanding organization. Plant Operator Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment in the field
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and mechanical components
• Understand and comply with environmental permits and regulations
• Operate and maintain compressors, boilers, and generators
• Manage pump maintenance, including seal replacement
• Utilize basic computer skills for data entry and reporting

Plant Operator Requirements

• 1+ years of industrial maintenance or plant operations experience
• Electrical and mechanical expertise
• Knowledge of pumps and ability to perform seal replacements
• Experience with refrigeration systems is advantageous
• Flexibility to respond to on-call situations
• PLC knowledge is preferred
