About the role
We are hiring a Plant Operator (Cylinder Loader/Filler) in Roseville, MN. The position involves handling and filling gas products into various types of cylinders, performing cylinder analyses, and adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Safely handle and fill gas products into liquid, medical, and high-pressure gas cylinders.
- Meet all safety standards during loading and unloading of cylinder gases.
- Perform cylinder analyses and support alignment with government and company standards.
- Calculate gas mixtures to maintain quality standards and document results.
- Ensure cylinder and valve combinations are compatible and compliant with mixtures.
- Operate control panels with precision to manage gas mixtures.
- Complete all necessary records to accurately reflect production actions.
- Promote and uphold company procedures and government regulations regarding the safe handling of hazardous materials.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse/material-handling equipment.
- Load/unload cylinders on/off pallets, securing them properly.
- Contribute to team success as needed.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Lives by Airgas safety programs, OSHA, and relevant regulations.
- A minimum of 1 year of related technical experience.
- Preferred: Prior experience utilizing SAP or similar ERP systems, intermediate knowledge of Google Suite or Microsoft Office applications, demonstrated knowledge of basic math operations.
Qualifications

- A minimum of 1 year of related technical experience.
- In lieu of specific industry experience, may accept an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred: Prior experience utilizing SAP or similar ERP systems, intermediate knowledge of Google Suite or Microsoft Office applications, demonstrated knowledge of basic math operations.
