About the role
We are hiring a Plant Operator in Star, MS. The role involves ensuring the safe and efficient loading and packaging of dry ice products, inspecting products for quality, operating production machinery, and maintaining a clean and organized facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily loading, weighing, and packaging of dry ice products into various containers based on customer orders.
- Inspect all finished products to ensure they meet strict quality standards regarding weight, density, and packaging integrity.
- Operate production machinery and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Accurately log production numbers, shipping manifests, and inventory usage.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Ability to perform basic math operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- One (1) year experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
