Plant Operations Technician

About the role

The Plant Operations Technician (Maintenance) is responsible for the overall upkeep of residential apartments and public areas through responsive, accurate and efficient maintenance. This will be accomplished through the performance of simple tasks that require the application of general maintenance and repair techniques, materials, tools, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple tasks related to residential building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, flooring, and appliances.
• Work as a member of the Maintenance team responsible for the physical condition of all buildings on campus.
• Provide extraordinary care and hold each other accountable.

Requirements

• Must possess a working knowledge of residential building maintenance.
• Must be able to effectively communicate and work with residents and staff.
• Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression.
• Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
