Plant Operations Mechanic
About the role
The primary responsibilities of this role will be to perform maintenance, calibration, and installation of equipment at the Liquefied Natural Gas Plant, Propane/Air Plant, and Natural Gas Gate Stations in the PECO Energy Service Territory. Operate PECO Energy's Liquefied Natural Gas Plant & Propane/Air Plant on a seasonal basis.
Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, and repair instrumentation equipment
- Install, calibrate, and repair electrical equipment
- Install, calibrate, and repair mechanical equipment
- Operate Liquefied Natural Gas Plant & Propane/Air Plant on a seasonal basis
- Rotating shift work on seasonal basis
- Performs all work during an assigned shift in a safe, continuous and efficient manner while maintaining environmental and housekeeping standards within federal, state and local guidelines.
- Affords assistance in requisitioning parts and supplies.
- Performs any other duties assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in one, two, or all the technical disciplines; Electrical, Instrumentation, & Mechanical
- a. Strong industrial electrical background in repair & maintenance
- b. Strong industrial instrument background in repair & maintenance
- c. Strong industrial mechanical background in repair & maintenance
- Successfully complete applicable testing & skill demonstration
- Perform work with minimal supervision
- Proficient at interpreting electro-mechanical & control system schematic and wiring diagrams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Plant Operations, Industrial Electrician, Instrumentation, and Pipefitting preferred
Qualifications
Availability for shift work, weekend coverage, and response to off-hour emergencies

Benefits
Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $22.00/Yr. – $/Yr.
