Plant Operations Manager / Night Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and oversight of all third shift manufacturing operations.
• Direct production, machining, maintenance, quality, engineering, tooling, and materials activities to achieve operational goals.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and maintain a safe manufacturing environment.
• Drive production efficiency, quality, utilization, and on-time customer delivery.
• Partner with Quality to maintain IATF standards and reduce scrap and customer returns.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Tool Room to support tooling, process improvements, and production readiness.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and capital improvement projects.
• Cook up raw material flow, inventory movement, shipping, and finished goods production.
• Lead production supervisors and develop employee performance through coaching and training.
• Monitor plant financial performance through cost management and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Utilize statistical process control and control plans to support continuous improvement.
• Support cross-functional communication with sales, customers, and plant leadership as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
• 10–15 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Previous management experience overseeing multi-department manufacturing operations.
• Experience within die casting or metal manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plant operations, production, quality, maintenance, and safety.
• Experience with budgeting, cost management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Pay

$40-45/hr (depending on experience.)
