Responsibilities

• Aid in overseeing policies, procedures, and processes aimed at minimizing costs and maximizing production
• Manage production control, methods, maintenance, cost accounting, supply/logistics, distribution, manufacturing, and other plant management tasks
• Ensure plant operations comply with relevant safety standards and regulations
• Prepare and maintain plant budgets
• Draft reports regarding plant operations and maintenance
• Ensure organizational production expectations are met
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
• Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
• Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of the field's policies, procedures, and practices
• Perform complex tasks
• Lead and direct the work of other employees
• Have full authority for personnel decisions and may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change
• Typically require a bachelor's degree and 7 or more years of experience

• Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, MS Office suite
• Strong analytical skills with a high-level of attention to detail and business process
• Strong skills in developing and presenting performance metrics reports
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with others
• Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data
• Ability to prepare and present comprehensive reports
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, including preparing and presenting information
• Ability to work independently and be self-directed as needed
