Responsibilities
- Aid in overseeing policies, procedures, and processes aimed at minimizing costs and maximizing production
- Manage production control, methods, maintenance, cost accounting, supply/logistics, distribution, manufacturing, and other plant management tasks
- Ensure plant operations comply with relevant safety standards and regulations
- Prepare and maintain plant budgets
- Draft reports regarding plant operations and maintenance
- Ensure organizational production expectations are met
- Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
- Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
- Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of the field's policies, procedures, and practices
- Perform complex tasks
- Lead and direct the work of other employees
- Have full authority for personnel decisions and may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change
- Typically require a bachelor's degree and 7 or more years of experience
Skills
- Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, MS Office suite
- Strong analytical skills with a high-level of attention to detail and business process
- Strong skills in developing and presenting performance metrics reports
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with others
- Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data
- Ability to prepare and present comprehensive reports
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, including preparing and presenting information
- Ability to work independently and be self-directed as needed
