We’re Looking For A Plant Manager Location: Seward, NE What You’ll Be Doing: Oversee and manage the production process at the Seward facility to operate within budget and meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Monitor and review daily production performance to ensure operations meet performance standards, making adjustments or improvements as neededCreate and share regular reports with management, providing status updates on production metrics, issues or challenges facing departments, and opportunities for efficiency improvementMaintain a strong safety mindset and thorough understanding of safety guidelines and protocols; enforce those guidelines and protocols with managers and employeesFoster a high quality standing by enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and adherence to all food safety and quality standards, guidelines, processes and initiativesMaintain a continuous improvement mindset to identify cost saving opportunities and see those opportunities through to implementation in partnership with other departments and stakeholdersManage Production and Sanitation leaders and teams in a way that fosters accountability, autonomy, performance and career developmentAnalyze current production processes and equipment and recommend improvements for enhanced efficiency and cost-effectivenessPartner closely with other departments including Safety, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Sanitation, Accounting and HR to maintain efficient operations and overcome challenges to the production area(s) as they ariseProvide leadership support and assistance to Production and Sanitation leaders for employee or performance related challengesCoach and mentor strong performers, providing development opportunities to prepare employees for future roles and opportunities Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required.
