Plant Manager

Worldwide Foam is seeking a full-time Plant Manager to lead our facility in Elkhart, IN. Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, efficient operations while guiding production, shipping, maintenance, and inventory activities toward success
• Coach and develop employees
• Oversee hiring and onboarding efforts
• Manage attendance and payroll approvals
• Serve as the vital connection between plant employees and corporate leadership
• Analyze operational data, identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve productivity
• Coordinate facility and equipment upkeep
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that help exceed customer expectations

Requirements

• 4-year degree or 3+ years of experience in a similar manufacturing leadership role
• Strong organizational, planning, and team-building skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Good computer skills, including ERP systems, SharePoint, Outlook, and related software
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to write reports and analyze operational data
• Positive attitude and resilience
• Ability to work in warehouse and office environments year-round
• Strong math skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (team lift required for heavier loads)

Qualifications

• ISO experience preferred
• 5+ years of experience in a similar manufacturing leadership position preferred

Schedule

Full-time position working Monday through Friday, with a schedule of 8 AM to 5 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM.
