Plant Manager

About the role

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO). Purpose: Lead a cement plant to achieve safe, reliable, cost-effective, and compliant operations while delivering production, quality, and financial targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead plant operations across production, maintenance, quality, and process functions.
• Drive world-class safety, environmental compliance, and operational excellence.
• Meet production, cost, quality, and budget targets.
• Manage plant budgets, capital projects, and cost control initiatives.
• Develop and lead high-performing teams, succession planning, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure alignment with company culture and business objectives.
• Embed UNA Culture values, reinforcing leadership behaviors, collaboration and performance discipline.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
• 10'15 years of experience, including 10+ years in leadership roles.
• Strong experience in cement, mining, aggregates, lime, steel, or similar heavy industries.
• Knowledge of MSHA regulations, budgeting, maintenance, operations, and SAP.
