About the Role
The Bowling Green site is a key manufacturing location with a diverse range of surfactant products and technologies. The site serves the Lubrizol Life Science business unit. The Plant Manager is accountable for safety, quality, delivery, cost and continuous improvement at the facility.
Required Qualifications That Enable Your Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (Chemical preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, ideally in a PSM regulated facility.
- Experience of leading a smaller site is beneficial.
- Can effectively work in a matrix organization.
- Effective communication and networking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills as well as facilitation experience.
- Self-motivated, proactive with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, “high energy", team oriented environment.
- Must demonstrate enthusiasm, a sense of urgency, attention to detail, commitment and follow-through while maintaining confidentiality and meeting deadlines.
- Strong/structured problem solving skills.
