Plant Manager
About the role
The Plant Manager will lead industrial excellence at the Wheatfield, NY (Seeded Gel & Ekonol) manufacturing sites, supporting activities for the Aerospace, Electronics, and Industrial Markets. This role is accountable for all aspects of site leadership, operational performance, and continuous improvement in alignment with the business strategy. The Plant Manager will set and deliver the plant’s operational goals, driving strong performance in EHS, growth, profitability, capital investment, cost reduction, quality, and overall operational effectiveness.
A critical element of this role is building a dynamic, engaged workforce that contributes meaningfully to customer success. The Plant Manager has direct leadership responsibility for production, engineering, quality, supply chain, and facilities, with dotted-line reporting relationships for finance and human resources. Collaboration across commercial, R&D, and support functions is essential to achieve shared business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (required)
- Master's degree in Business or an advanced Engineering degree (preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in similar functions within an industrial and international environment
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills in a Windows environment, including Excel, Access, and Microsoft Word
- Well-developed organizational influence skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization

Pay
The national pay range for this position is $133,000 to $213,000 per year. Base pay may vary based on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus, with a targeted bonus amount of 24% of base salary based on company and individual performance. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) is $155,600 to $249,200. Bonus payments are variable and not guaranteed.
