Plant Manager

About the role

The Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, including production, production scheduling, quality control, safety, maintenance, and personnel management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and possess excellent leadership and organizational skills. The Plant Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily production activities to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing processes
• Monitor production schedules, manage production budgets and scheduling personnel, and optimize resources to meet production targets
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce production costs
• Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures
• Comply with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed
• Recruit, train, and supervise production staff, including supervisors and line workers
• Foster a positive work culture, provide coaching, and conduct performance evaluations
• Manage staffing levels and schedule employees to meet production demands
