Plant Manager

About the role

Patriot Foundry, a prominent and expanding manufacturing firm, is seeking a skilled Plant Manager to join their team in Franklin, NH. The successful candidate will oversee all onsite operations including planning, production, purchasing, and product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Developing production schedules based on due dates, material availability, staffing, and equipment constraints.
• Overseeing manufacturing operations including purchasing, production runs, external operations, and shipping.
• Managing staff including training, providing support, and handling disciplinary action.
• Ensuring equipment is kept in working order and arranging for regular cycles of preventative maintenance.
• Interacting with production and engineering staff to ensure quality issues are resolved and documented.
• Maintaining a compliant work environment in accordance with safety and environmental regulatory requirements.
• Completing documentation in line with ISO 9001 requirements including KPIs, inspection logs, nonconformances, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Understanding of metallurgy basics, metalworking principles, and nonferrous casting processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical documents.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental compliance, and ISO quality systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrates adaptability and keen attention to detail.
• Able to perform physical duties such as lifting 30+ pounds, bending, twisting, and standing for long periods of time.
• U.S. citizenship or documented residency.
• Be 18+ years old.

Pay

The salary offered is competitive based on experience and qualifications. A bonus incentive is also available, contingent upon objective performance metrics.
