About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of our manufacturing operations in Savannah, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and a proven track record of leadership and operational excellence. This role will ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant production of high-quality dental and medical devices while driving a culture of operational excellence through Lean and other continuous improvement techniques. The position will also lead site growth initiatives and investment strategy execution.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the strategic growth of the manufacturing facility, partnering with business partners and the Henry Schein Manufacturing global organization to support business growth and supply chain excellence.
  • Plan strategic investment at the site to enable growth and future manufacturing initiatives; present business cases to drive investment.
  • Provide site oversight for production and operations management, including:
    • Directing site leadership and teams on production output, product quality, and on-time shipping in a metric-driven operation.
    • Ensuring all manufacturing activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA regulations, and other relevant industry standards.
    • Designing effective resource allocation to achieve production goals.
  • Build organizational capabilities and talent to support current and future business requirements.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and manage the plant's budget, including labor, materials, and operational expenses; identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety.
  • Prepare and present financial and operational reports for leadership.
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all products meet or exceed regulatory and customer requirements; lead and participate in regulatory audits and inspections.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in regulated manufacturing and supply chain operations.
  • Proven leadership and management skills in a high-growth and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to manage relationships across a matrix reporting structure.
  • Record of successfully introducing and implementing strategic initiatives in a manufacturing/supply chain environment (preferred).
  • Budgeting and forecasting experience required.
  • Analytical skills for data review and process optimization.
  • Typically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in professional experience; 3 or more years of management experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in a related discipline (required).
  • Master's degree or global equivalent (a plus).

  • Ability to lead and develop virtual teams.
  • Proficiency in multiple technical and business skills.

Schedule & Location

This role is based in Savannah, GA. Travel is typically less than 10%. The work environment is an office setting with no special physical demands required.
