Plant Manager

Location: Greater Salt Lake City Area, UT

Reports To: Executive Leadership

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations with a strong presence on the production floor.
• Develop and execute production schedules to maximize throughput and minimize downtime.
• Oversee maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance programs and equipment troubleshooting.
• Promote a safety‑first culture and ensure compliance with all safety and operational standards.
• Train, coach, and develop production personnel while fostering accountability and teamwork.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
• Monitor operational performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience within steel manufacturing, metal processing, or a related industry.
• Strong hands‑on experience with pipe and tube mills, slitting equipment, roll‑forming machinery, tooling changeovers, and equipment maintenance.
• Proven ability to improve production efficiency and operational performance.
• Experience leading production and maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, employee development, and strategic planning skills.
• Hands‑on leadership style with a willingness to spend significant time on the shop floor.
