Plant Manager

Your Role

Lead all daily plant operations, including production, safety, quality, engineering, maintenance, shipping, receiving, procurement, and scheduling.

Ensure production goals, product quality, and on-time delivery are consistently achieved.

Drive continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, process optimization, and cost-saving initiatives.

Maintain OSHA compliance and promote a strong safety culture through regular floor presence.

Develop, coach, and lead supervisors and employees while fostering positive union relationships.

Collaborate with engineering, HR, suppliers, and leadership to improve operations and resolve production challenges.

Monitor plant performance, budgets, and operational metrics to maximize efficiency and profitability.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree preferred (Engineering or related field); equivalent experience considered.
• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, including plant or senior operations management.
• Background in metal fabrication and Lean Manufacturing preferred.
• Experience in a union environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, OSHA regulations, production planning, and continuous improvement.
• Proven leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Microsoft Dynamics AX experience is a plus.

Physical Demands

• Frequent standing and walking throughout the facility.
• Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly (80 pounds occasionally).

Work Environment

• Manufacturing environment with moving machinery, moderate to high noise levels, and occasional exposure to heat and vibration.
