About the role
The Plant Maintenance Lead plays a critical role in Crusoe's manufacturing operations, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our facility. This position is essential for producing high-quality products and meeting operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and facilities issues using a variety of hand and power tools, multimeters, and other electrical and mechanical instruments.
- Help develop and lead implementation of a comprehensive preventive maintenance system to minimize downtime and extend the life of our assets.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory codes, including OSHA, while maintaining all necessary ISO documentation.
- Maintain a detailed maintenance schedule and capture all performed and scheduled maintenance.
- Effectively manage projects with regard to time, safety, and resources.
- Train personnel on maintenance procedures and work cooperatively with production teams to ensure continuous operation and minimize machine downtime.
- Manage vendor interactions and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant manufacturing maintenance experience, with expertise in industrial maintenance equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- The ability to read electrical schematics and manuals, perform electrical troubleshooting using a multimeter, and demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, with a talent for detecting equipment problems and communicating them effectively.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push, pull, or carry objects, and use proper lifting techniques.
- Must be able to work in a safe manner and take appropriate action to ensure your safety and the safety of others.
- This position is designated a safety-sensitive position and/or is located in a safety-sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required. Must be able to pass a background check.
Qualifications
- A college degree or technical certifications in a related field.
- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role.

Pay
$40-44/hr + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
