Responsibilities

• Directs incoming loads of construction material to the correct unloading location.
• Works with plant leadership and asphalt plant operators to ensure production material needs are being met and in a timely manner.
• Loads hoppers and feeds belts of proper materials for production.
• Loads refuse, scrap, rubble and/or rejected material into trucks/roll offs for disposal.
• Accurately records incoming loads of material for receiving and payable purposes.
• Removes accumulated slurry from washout pits as needed.
• Maintains basic equipment and ensures yard and unpaved areas are kept clean.
• Affirms safe operation of equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent;
• Previous heavy equipment experience with some manual labor on plant equipment;
• Valid NE driver’s license and insurable under the company insurance program.

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible work schedule of 60+ hours per week, including some Saturdays.
• Physically able to aid the maintenance and normal operations of the two batch plants.
• Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
