Plant & Inventory Coordinator

At Dieffenbach's Snacks, we're passionate about making great snacks—but behind every bag of chips is a warehouse operation that runs with precision. As our Plant & Inventory Coordinator, you'll become the operational hub that keeps materials flowing, inventory accurate, and our production team supplied with everything they need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Own the Warehouse flow – Keep shipping, receiving, and staging lanes organized, clean, and perfectly accessible like an inventory master.
- Count it, track it, check it – Manage physical inventory counts, run cycle counts, tackle discrepancies, and maintain pristine digital records.
- Production runway prep – Stage the corrugate, film, and seasoning for production runs so the line never stops, then reconcile and return the leftovers when the run is done.
- Inbound inspector – Help receive incoming merchandise, unload materials safely, and ensure everything is properly documented and stored.
- Logistics maestro – Coordinate inventory transfers between locations and arrange freight for raw material pickups like a logistics pro.
- Drive the big rigs (indoors) – Safely operate material handling equipment, including stretch wrappers, pallet jacks, loaders, and forklifts.

- Safety + Food Quality = Always – Strictly follow all GMPs, food safety protocols, and company compliance standards.
Requirements
- Have 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or shipping environment.
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Hold a valid forklift certification and love operating material handling equipment.
- Bring strong basic math, computer, and recordkeeping skills to handle inventory tech smoothly.
- Be comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently throughout an 8-10 hour shift.
- Thrive on a collaborative team where production, warehouse, and office staff all have each other’s backs.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management systems.
- Experience with material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Forklift certification preferred but not required.
