About the role
Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Plant Finance Manager. This role is based out of our South Milwaukee, WI location.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data and performance metrics related to the operations to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Drives accountability for results and defines key performance metrics together with business leaders.
- Provides financial insights and analysis to support operational decision-making, such as evaluating capital deployment opportunities or new projects.
- Drives initiatives (including CAPEX AND WORKING CAPITAL) and influences changes: ensures productivity improvements and growth in areas such as operational excellence, continuous improvement, quality and supply chain management.
- Works closely with the operations team to develop action plans, strategies, and initiatives based on financial insights.
- Drives and monitors the implementation of the plans.
- Pairs with Plant staff and Division leaders to ensure financial and operational strategies are aligned through consistent processes, analyses, and collaboration.
- Creates financial models to assess the impact of various scenarios on operational performance.
- Identifies financial risks within the operations and proposes mitigation strategies.
- Maintains key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to evaluate performance against targets.
- Monitors and manages operational costs to achieve efficiency and cost-reduction while maintaining quality.
- Implements inventory control actions and initiatives to maximize operational profitability while maximizing cash.
- Leads the main financial processes for the periodic site forecasts and profit plan.
- Analyzes and interprets financial data related to the costs incurred by a company during its operations with the primary objective to provide valuable insights to management, enabling them to make informed decisions regarding cost efficiency, pricing strategies, and overall financial performance.
Qualifications
- Required (Basic): Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field; 5-8 years varied accounting/finance experience; 2 years of data analytics experience is preferred; must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Preferred Qualifications: Strong financial acumen and business partnering skills.
- Skills: Ability to understand and communicate financial concepts to non-financial professionals; extreme ownership and ability to handle ambiguity and create standard processes; detail-oriented with effective organization and time management skills; highly motivated, highly analytical and self-starter.
